General Warranty & Service Agreement
It is my goal to provide the best service possible to each and every customer. If you have any problems or complaints, bring it to my attention and I will do whatever it takes to resolve the problem. In almost 2 years of business, I have not had one bad customer experience yet, and I plan to keep it that way forever. This service agreement gives rights to you as the customer, and also to me as your service provider.
Ownership Agreement
You certify that you are the expressed owner of the computer system being presented for service. In the event that you are found not to be the true expressed owner of the computer system, you will assume liability for any claim made as the result of the technical support rendered by HCS.
Manufacturer Warranties
You, the customer, understand that some services provided by HCS may void manufacturer or other warranties for your computer system. HCS will not assume any liability or warranty in the event that the manufacturer warranty is voided, aside from HCS' own warranty for such service.
Success of Service
HCS offers no verbal or written warranty, either expressed or implied, regarding the success of any technical support. While I cannot guarantee success, I can guarantee you that if I cannot remedy your problem, you will not be charged for any service.
Data Loss Waiver
Data loss is an inherent risk of computer service. An example is a data recovery service on a dying hard drive - in the middle of trying to recover data, the drive dies for good and quits spinning. HCS will make every effort to maintain the integrity of your data, but cannot and will not be held liable for data loss of any kind.
Computer Systems and Parts Sales Warranty
Any parts or computer systems sold or installed by HCS carry manufacturer's hardware warranty only. If any sold or installed part or computer system fails within 30 days of sale or service, HCS will help with attaining replacement parts from the manufacturer, and will re-install the replacement parts at no additional charge (except transporatation charges if applicable).
Malware Service Warranty
HCS cannot guarantee the success of any malware removal service. Just as no anti-virus software will ever
have a 100% detection rate, neither can I as a human being. In years of doing this as a specialty, I have never
failed at malware removal, even when there's literally thousands of viruses - but you and I must both accept the
possibility that I could miss something. In the event that I do miss something, you agree to not hold HCS liable
for any damage that could result from it - such as data loss or identity theft.
If you report a malware-related problem within 10 days of service, you are entitled to either get your money back,
or have me clean it again one more time for free, your choice.
Total Liability
You as the customer agree that the total liability of HCS to you shall in no event exceed the total amount billed by HCS.
